Community Service

ChangeMatters believes in investing in the communities in which we do business. We foster partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances across the public, private, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors. Our philanthropy and community involvement tends to flow into creative and compelling combinations of art, business, and community. For example, we provide modest but continuing financial and volunteer support to Pyramid Atlantic and Space 710 at Kefa Cafe. We also have a commitment to promoting and supporting the field of common good enterprise, with organizations such as William James Foundation, SAGE, Ignite for a Better Baltimore, Echoing Green. Our team has voluntarily organized, presented in, and otherwise supported dozens of professional development events on social enterprise topics, and has advised two student MBA teams from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business and the Center for Social Value Creation.
